Out of State California Cases: first offense DUI or an out of state Alcohol related charge in the state of CA. and either reside in another state, or are moving to another state may need to take an alcohol/Drug education program which can be available for you totally online. In California, a mandatory Alcohol education program for DUI Alcohol awareness class or an intervention program to fulfill court or state-mandated requirements.
Sometimes a defendant and his attorney can agree to a pretrial diversion program for drug crimes of a criminal charge or offense. Many times in an Alcohol or Drug related case the pretrial terms may include an Alcohol or Drug treatment, evaluation, interdiction or simply an online class. The pretrial diversion program for drug crimes may be similar to a probation or probate sentence after terms are completed over a prespecified period. Many courts will probate a DUI or DWI for 1, 2 or 3 years depending upon the circumstances of the case.
