Tennessee DUI Classes Online

If you have been charged with a first offense DUI, you can possibly become required to take a DUI School.


If you have received a DWI, DUI, OVI, MIP (minor in possession) or any other Alcohol or Drug related charge, there may be an online course available for this state. And in many states, a mandatory Alcohol education program for Alcohol-Drug awareness class can be necessary to fulfill court or state-mandated requirements is needed. This course may fulfill your needs and do so from any computer with an internet connection. The online course can be taken in English or Spanish and at your convenience and at your own pace. No classroom setting.

This online course is available in 8, 10, 12, 16, 20 and 24 Hour Alcohol Awareness and Drug Education Programs. Many courts may need 8 to 12 Hour courses for first-time offenses and longer courses for repeat offenses. You may begin the course upon registering and continue in your own schedule.

  • 1st Offense DUI Offender – .08 (BAC)

    • 48 Hours up to 11 months, 29 days for offenders in violation of 55-10-401
    • .20 BAC or greater minimum jail time 7 consecutive days
    • License revocation for 1 year
    • You will be ordered to participate in a DUI school
    • Pay restitution to any person suffering physical injury or personal loss
    • $350-$1,500 fine
    • With towing, bail, attorney, high risk insurance, court costs, school, and reinstatement fees, your first offense average costs could add up to $4,900
    • Judge can order you to install a vehicle Ignition Interlock Device at your expense. Minimum 1st year cost $810
    • If two (2) convictions of DUI in 5 years, Ignition Interlock Device required for 6 months after reinstatement at your expense
    • Drug and Alcohol Treatment may be required at the judge’s discretion
