<p>The 12 Hour DWI Classes are all online for those who have been charged with the offense of driving while intoxicated.  Many states and courts required defendants of DWI, DUI, OWI, OVI, and DUII to take 8, 10, 12- 16, 20, and 24 Hour Alcohol Awareness and Drug Education courses for <a href=pretrial diversion program for drug crimes or mandatory requirements of conviction.   The most common is the 12 Hour dwi classes, but first-time offenders may be allowed to take the 8 Hour course.

In most states a person can be charged with a DWI if while operating a motor vehicle they fit one of two definitions of intoxication.  (1) “Alcohol concentration” means the number of grams of Alcohol per 210 liters of breath; (B) 100 milliliters of blood; or (C) 67 milliliters of urine. (2) “Intoxicated” means: (A) not having the normal use of mental or physical faculties by reason of the introduction of Alcohol, a controlled substance, a Drug, a dangerous Drug, a combination of two or more of those substances, or any other substance into the body; or (B) having an Alcohol concentration of 0.08 or more. In Texas, if a person has a CDL (Commercial Drivers License), the concentration only needs to be .04 whether that person was operating a commercial motor vehicle at the time of the offense or not.

Be sure to check with your attorney or the court prior to taking this course because some states or courts may not allow distance education and learning type courses and may rather you take the class in an actual classroom setting.  In California, Florida, and Texas, many courts, will allow an online course mainly for out of state non residents who have been charged while in their state but reside in another state.  Others may require prior court approval first, but do allow the option.

The online course is so convenient to take. It’s highly informative and quite fun.  You may log in or out from anywhere an internet terminal or computer is available. Even from your wifi connected iphone or android type smart phone.
